I have Websense alerts setup and working. When an alert triggers a threshold, an alert is e-mailed to the specified Administrator e-mail address. However, when I add a recipient e-mail address, alerts are not sent to the recipient address, but only to the Administrator e-mail address. Any ideas on how to fix this so that alerts are sent to both Administrator and Recipient e-mail addresses?

Block page not displaying
I am running Websense Web Security 7.6.2 I have 2 nic one listening one blocking. I have the switch mirroring to the listening nic and the blocking nic pluged back in to the same network. It is working fine as far as blocking the websites i have select. The problem is when it blocks a user it does not give them the block page it just says the page can't be loaded. any help will be great.

Increasing Character Limit

A server was restarted and now the User Service and the Policy Service will not start

Why is it that I submitted a case two weeks ago and never hear from anyone for support? We pay for support and don't get a single response to an online submitted case. How terrible is this?

Website is pathetically slow
I have been online since 3 4 hours and the page response is pathetic, i wanted to download the windows installer for Version 7.3, only 7% is downloaded in the last 3 hours and the current download rate is 22Kbps..!! I do not think it can get worse than this.

create another priority level/flag other than the three default of 'low,' 'medium,' and 'high'
Currently, we get a lot of incidents marked as low that should be looked at, but we've also created exceptions that are marked as low that we want to audit. However, generally, the exceptions we create just need to be audited just in case we need to look back at them. I don't want to view every exception I've created. Is there a way to create another level of priority so that we can still audit the incident, but not continuously have to view the incidents?
I do understand we can filter views, but we still get a lot of valid incidents that get marked as low....I'm just trying to clean out what we have excepted and those we haven't.

Invalid Blocked Websense Message
Hello,
We have a user who's trying to access a specific URL that once was accessible but now, the user isn't able to access the site. The strange part is that the URL isn't listed in recategorized "Block" category but Websense thinks that it is. We aren't blocking that URL. The version of Websense Web Security is 7.7.
Any help you can provide would be great.

Does Websense v7.7 Support SQL Server 2008 SP3
We are currently running SQL Server 2008 SP2 (not R2). We would like to upgrade to SQL Server 2008 SP3. According to the release notes for Websense v7.7 and v7.7.3 it supports:
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 or 2008 R2 Standard or Enterprise
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 Standard or Enterprise
Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Express
but this doesn't tell me about services packs? Any one running v7.7 on SQL 2008 SP3?

AD User Directory - Possible to query on group members instead of OU?
We need to control PEM notifications and portal access using Active Directory but we don't want to build a new OU just for this purpose. Is it possible to set up a User Directory query based on AD group membership?
I've tried various incantations using "memberOf" but I can't get it to work.

it doesn't look like we can customize the following block pages currently (nor do they contain any info relating to Websense, making it confusing for both Users / Administrators):

Add reporting features to Personal Email Manager
Our customer would like to be able to report on certain features of Personal Email Manager (PEM). For example, how many users are using the system, how many emails have been blocked, how many emails have been releaased etc...
These are just a few reports but I am sure there are a lot of others that would be equally as useful?

Can't sort emails in message administrator anymore WES v7.3 HF7
Up until a few months ago, we were able to sort message searches by sender, subject, date, status, etc... but we can't anymore. Was this due to a patch/hotfix install? Does anyone know how to fix this?

Remove option to Whitelist a whole Domain
I received a request from a user today to help her get an email address added to her whitelist. I was pretty surprised when I saw the option to "Whitelist sender domain gmail.com". I was even more surprised when I wasn't able to see the option to delimit whitelisting domains. I am coming from Postini where we used to be able to delimit that option because what user really wants all of gmail.com or another domain to be completely whitelisted? I think it'd be a great addition to control who users can/can't set to their Whitelist.

Malicious Web Sites
Dear Websense,
When Websense blocks a site due to the site being a Malicious Website, it would be useful if there was a way of getting more information as to why Websense thinks the site is a risk. I still get people insisting that they need access to these sites, so I have to do an investigation (access it from a test machine), which does not need to happen if I knew why the site was blocked in the first place.

Attempting to schedule a presentation report to run automatically, but it never seems to go through.
I am trying to send a presentation report detailing the bandwidth usage per group. When I go to run the report manually I receive the e mail. I want to be able to send it to myself on a daily basis and I have gone through the steps to do so, but it does not come through, I would like to receive the report using relative dates for last month, and I want to schedule it daily for now, and schedule it to my manager monthly. I have tried but it does not go through. When it is done manually, no problem, but when I attempted a daily schedule, it never went anywhere and I did not receive ANY failure notices.
The WS server is a Windows 2003 Server 32 Bit and the WS version is Websense Web Filter 7.5
