Can I to print policies to file (like a report) individually?
For example:
I want to print only my policy "Default" to show my boss what this policy is doing.
I saw that I can print ALL policies to excell. But it doesn't good. I need it like a report.
Is it possible?

Cloud web security registration mail not receiving
I and some of my colleagues registered in websense. Now we tried to get register with cloud web security. we used the pac file in browser setting and when we tried to open internet it asked for registration i.e to provide name and email. We have given that. 2 among us have received the mail from bounce@websense.com to continue with registration but others 5 did not. What could be the reasons?

Websense Standalone and Citrix
Hello!
I have a websense standalone machine with all the necessary roles installed ( network agent etc ). This works fine and the product blocks and logs good. I would like to integrate this solution with a citrix server and found several documents about configurering this. Even though i have followed the documents i don´t really know what to do, because i see different setups for this.
To my understanding the only thing i need is to install the NA on another server and then the ´citrix plugin on the citrix servers. And then exclude IP´s etc. But this does not work so i am missing something. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

Support for filtering users on Citrix XenApp 6.5
We upgraded from Citrix Presentation Manager 4.5 to XenApp 6.5 in the fall and from what I can tell, 7.5, 7.6 nor 7.7 -- none of these Websense Web Security products support integration with XenApp 6.5 only 5 and 6.0 Websense has always supported Citrix integration (for user based policy), and 6.5 has been out for over a year... I'm really disappointed that Websense has not provided support for it, unless I just don't see where /how ? How are others handling this issue? I suppose I could continue filtering with a general policy, but when human resources asks me for a report to show web browsing activity for an individual citrix user, I will be left explaining that I cannot provide it .... Is there an ETA for XenApp 6.5 integration support ? This is really important and may result in my searchign for another product/solution all together.. which would be a shame.

With the US Open Golf Tournament starting today does anyone know if Websense is planning on moving URLs that provide live video to the Special Category? This was done for the NCAA March Madness, but I do not know if the PGA is considered for the category.

cannot unblock the site: 4njbets.com (4njbets.tvg.com)
Hi,
I have 2 web sites 4njbets.com & 4njbets.tvg.com (so far) which I have placed in exception list and re-categorized (to the enabled category, originally it's Gambling now it's Business) but users still getting page cannot be displayed (not a websense message). From the websense GUI console I can see that these web sites are custom enabled and not blocked. If I will place a user account in to Monitor only mode (like Power Users) these web sites are working. I have Triton v.7.7 with Cisco ASA 5510 integration. Any ideas what should I check / change to allow these web sites through the policies?

Feature Request for Screen Capture
Screen Capture for only active screens. As in case we want to block screen capture we can't do so as there are lots of false positive becuase process of the application is running but user is not actually using that screen to do print screen and hence it gets blocked.
Request you to add in future version.

Common issues faced by Cloud web security admin.
Hi All,
I have couple of issues faced when handling Cloud Web security.
1. Internet has stop working in IE9. User is using his laptop with multiple adapter.
2. not able to configured multiple email account in Microsoft Outlook. its keep prompting for authentication.
3. In Application Control, i blocked uploading files in Facebook & Youtube. but at the time of testing, i can able to upload & download pictures and vedios.
4. User is not able to takeup online training. its keep prompting for authentication. you can find the online training under "training.citrix.com". i bypass the mail domain (*.Citrix.com) but its not working.
Please help me in getting the answer for the above questions.

Roll Over Monthly
Hi, we just upgrade from 6.3 to 7.7, in 6.3 if you change the roll over to every month, the 1st of the next month it would create the new partition, but it didn't happened for us, the create manually worked fine though.
So does it count like 30 days or something ? Everything else seem to work well so far.

Reporting Bandwidth Usage Against AD Groups
Hello.
I've a simple requirement but I can't seem to form the report. I basically have all my users grouped into AD Groups which represent their department and I'd like to show a bar chart which displays how much bandwidth each department is using.
It's really for management so that each department head can see what they use compared to other departments.
However, when I try getting it to report on groups, Websense gives me a report on each user within that group and that's not what I want.
Any ideas on how to achieve this would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running V7.5.5 on a V10000 appliance.

SurfControl end of life
Hi,
We have SurfControl Webfilter in our company since 2006, Websense have annouced the end of life of the product for december the 31 2013. We are in the process of acquiring a new solution. Unfortunaty, it can take more time then expected, so at december 31, we can have no solution for web filtering.
My question is: after december 31 of this year, can we have the possibility to download the URL database update even manually, or all the sites will be at "Uncathegorised" ?
Is there any possibility to have a specific support contarct untill acquiring a new solution?
We need this information as soon as possible. Thank you.

hash or crypt Websense EndPoint uninstallation password
Hello,
When we want to create a GPO to do a remote uninstallation of an EndPoint client we have to write the uninstallation password in the script.
But it is not secure because someone else, who has access to server where script is stored, could see this password and then try uninstall EndPoint client himself.
It will be nice to hash or crypt this password in the script to avoid this unsecure thing.
So, it will be nice to have a EndPoint uninstallation command where we can use the hash password.

dropbox application proxy settings

I am having a problem with the drop box application
with no proxy information is goes directly and works
with auto detect and manual settings it doesnt work
for manual settings i used HTTP and the URL of our PAC file (with and without username/password)

automatic WCG Snapshot

In Websense Content Gateway Manager, we want to do an automatic snapshot. Currently, it is just possible to do it manually.
With this kind of feature we will be able to do automatic backup of the Websense Content Gateway Manager, every day for example.
This automatic could send snapshot to a FTP server.

I have removed all Websense components and blew them away from the registry, and installation folders and the local drives. I have re installed 7.6.2, but I have yet to import the policies. I would like to know if you can provide me with batch files for the proper sequence to stop all Websense services and start all Websense services before I continue.
