When we enabled the default "Encrypted Files" in DSS, we observed that in the incidents, all data at the "Forensics" tab is nonsense, since it is encrypted. It would be great if there is a feature to disable collecting this forensics tab and hence the storing of this encrypted file per rule. With this, we can also save some space, which will be crucial for the uses longing more than 2 years.

We have recently had issues with slow browsing which appear to have been down to the cache. Disabling http caching resolved the issues, turning it back on returned them. At which point I started looking for how to clear the cache, and found article in KB on how to do it, but as we don't have root access to the WCG vm was not able to do anything about it.
We were unable to clear the cache without raising a support call. Can we have a button in the web GUI somewhere so that we can clear the cache ourselves.
Also though there is configuration for setting up Cache Partition rules etc we won't ever be able to do so without raising another support call as our current cache takes up all the space and Support rep said we would have to call them to get it resized.
It would be good if there were controls in the WCG web interface that would allow us to resize and clear the cache on the appliances.

Our GM was expecting an email message and it was rejected with this message:
552 5.3.4 Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size.
Where do I look to find out what the maximum message size is and where can I change it? The only thing I've found that looks close is the "Limit maximum message size" option of the Server configuration. I just want to make sure I'm adjusting the correct setting.

So, if I'm using the site lookup tool & find that a site is uncategorized as per the database result but categorized as per the real-time, does this mean the real-time result will be pushed out during the next update? For example...
The site www.snapchannel.com is currently Uncategorized in my local deployment. WS Site Lookup Tool says the Master DB = Uncategorized, Real-Time = Business and Economy. I take this to mean that it gets placed into Business and Economy during the next update?

I am evaluating cloud web security and have one question. It seems that you can´t have two polices using the same public IP address. We only have one public IP and would like to use it for 2 different policies. Possible or not?

When I am in Policy Management>Clients>Directory and I click one of my Windows domains. Not all Groups and Users are showing. It's as though there is a limit on how many it can display. Is there a way around this?
In Settings>General>Directory Service I am using Windows Active Directory (Mixed Mode).
This used to work fine until I upgraded to 7.7

I have 2 web sites 4njbets.com & 4njbets.tvg.com (so far) which I have placed in exception list and re-categorized (to the enabled category, originally it's Gambling now it's Business) but users still getting page cannot be displayed (not a websense message). From the websense GUI console I can see that these web sites are custom enabled and not blocked. If I will place a user account in to Monitor only mode (like Power Users) these web sites are working. I have Triton v.7.7 with Cisco ASA 5510 integration. Any ideas what should I check / change to allow these web sites through the policies?

We have an issue with users who are members of many Active Directory groups (700+) getting an authentication error from the Content gateway using Kerberos authentication. This issue was logged with Websense. The engineer who assisted requested this feature request is logged. Throughout our environment we implemented the Microsoft setting found in this KB http://support.microsoft.com/kb/327825 some time ago and this has eliminated issues with other systems access. Can Websense provide a solution to increase the max kerberos token size to 64K to match the Microsoft limit please?
When will Active Directory 2012 become a certified directory service? Our domain serves were updated to AD 2012 and now users are showing up with only the TCP/IP. Do I have any work around options?

Just wanted to know how your experiences of upgrading to 7.7.3 have been. We are looking at going from 7.7.0 to 7.7.3 and would just like to know if anyone has experienced any pain. Obviously web/mail is a crucial system and I'm just doing some prep work to make sure nothing breaks when I do this.

My default policy blocks Encrypted Messages, has medium sensitivity for HTML content and blocks Macros with high sensitivity. I plan on keeping it that way for most of the company. We do have several hundred employees who need to have exceptions in those areas. They have legit business needs for these emails and are aware of the risks.
Currently I have to open a support ticket for each exception. This is a problem from a timing perspective and from a configuration perspective as I do not have a visible list of all the exception we have made.
Could you please put in a request to have per-user and global exception options for the following policy areas:
Antivirus>Content
Antivirus>Encrypted Messages

Some user feel it is very fast for the endpoint agent to apply the action before they manage to select the reason to allow the file to send out.

Websense Web Filtering v.7.7.3 is running in integrated mode. Network Agent is installed on a physical machine monitoring the network with 2 NICs. The OS is a Windows Server 2008 Standard SP2 64 bits with 24 Gb of RAM and 2 quad core processors running at 3.15 GHz. Number of seats is 2000. The physical machine resources are barely used as you can imagine.
Even so, NetwokAgent.exe is crashing a dozen time a day, but only during business hours, when people are working. No crashing during the nights and the week ends.
Last time, I was able to see the process crash when reaching around 2Gb of RAM. Can I suspect a faulty RAM module on the physical machine?
Some notes: the server is 64 bits, but the process is 32 bits. Also, Network Agent is used only to monitor bandwidth usage. Finally, this is a fresh install and the process has been crashing since the beginning.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

My company is currently using McAfee SmartFilter, but we are thinking about switching to Websense Web Filter. I was wondering if anyone knows of a way for the user to click a link that sends a "Submit Site Review Request", on the block page, to an Exchange account that will email me the user name, IP & the URL they are trying to go to?
I don't know if this feature is even available on Websense Web Filter or anything like it, but it is on McAfee SmartFilter and it's a very handy tool for if a user needs access to a certain site.

We have users who randomly receive a proxy authentication error when going to web sites, this happens primarily on XP machines. Anyone else seen these issues?
Our ISP has proposed the following router for a new leased line.
"The 1941-K9 router is deployed with the IP Base licence typically with IOS version 15.2M "
The other router option we may get is;
"The 1941-SEC-K9 router is deployed with the Security licence typically with IOS version 15.2M".
The second option may be required if we get a failover line.
Can anybody let me know if the above routers are supported for Websense integration?
We currently use Websense Web Security v6.3 integrated with ISA 2004
