Need some help.
Trying to allow users to download content from DropBox however they are currently unable to.
We have set the catergory on websense; Personal Network Storage and Backup as..... 'Notify'.
this means anytime users hit this catergory they have the option to agree terms and click continue to access the site.
My dielemma is:
When downloading content from Dropbox, Dropbox throws a message saying:
Normal 0 false false false EN-GB X-NONE X-NONE
Cannot connect to the real dl.dropboxusercontent.com
Something is currently interfering with your secure connection to dl.dropboxusercontent.com.
Try to reload this page in a few minutes or after switching to a new network. If you have recently connected to a new Wi-Fi network, finish logging in before reloading.
If you were to visit dl.dropboxusercontent.com right now, you might share private information with an attacker. To protect your privacy, Chrome will not load the page until it can establish a secure connection to the real dl.dropboxusercontent.com.
After running the TestLogserver.exe tool to establish the hits from the user i can see the category as permitted.
The Above URL AND Dropbox.com (port 80 and 443) is added onto the exception list
If the policy is set to Notify when accessing the Network Storage and Backup category how can the user click on continue? There is no opions or pop up to do so.
All sounds a bit complicated but in a nutshell im trying to allow access for users to DOWNLOAD content from dropbox with a proxy server that has the category set to NOTIFY.
