I was wondering - reports are only saved for 60/90days.
I want to be able to save the reports longer for future investigations (for example, 6 months ago a user accesses a website, I want to be able to find out all the websites that user accessed 6months ago at a specific time,day or range etc)
I am worried I am not able to do this.
Is it possible?

In the our company Skype use for external communication.
But recently we have problem with it, because MS changed a way how client Skype work.
Dynamically IPs now used for client Skype work, which categorized by Web Filtering as "Internet Telephony".
It's right, but "Internet Telephony" category blocked in our company.
I suggest to create new category "Skype" or "Internet Telephony - Skype", like it was made for "Social Web"

We are currently running Websense 7.5 on windows 2003 servers with Citrix integration on our Presentation servers. We are in the process of upgrading to Xenapp 6.5 which runs on 2008 R2 64-bit servers. Is is possible to upgrade websense on the 2003 servers so that we can have citrix integration on our Xen servers or will we need to upgrade our Websense servers to 2008 as well?
When I login to the "My Websense," portal and expand the "Products and Subscriptions," section, there is a "Seats," value. Is this the number of "seats," used by all my servers throughout the enterprise or do I need to run the ConsoleClient command on every server to get this value?

If we have a mail setup as follows
Local Exchange Server > Websense SMTP agent > remote mail server
When we turn on delivery reports for the mail clients, we will get a report back from Websense claiming the the mail was received at the relay OK, but we will never get a delivery confirmation from the remote mail server. This is important for us as if we want to have confirmation that an important mail has reached it's destination and not been quarantined by Websense, we would have to do this out-of-band and can't rely on delivery reports to achieve this.
Could we submit an FR for this?

Currently (version 7.7.3) the Real-Time Monitor only displays the actions "Permitted" or "Blocked". Many times, the "Blocked" is actually giving the end user the "Continue" or 'Use Quota Time" option, but that isn't showing in the Action column. Displaying the true action would help troubleshoot an end user's issue much faster.
we have a websense triton web filter and TMG 2010 for proxy. i just want to know if this two will handle a 500mbps internet speed? or do i need an appliance for that? TMG 2010 is a virtual machine with 2 cores and 4GB of ram and 10Gb network while the triton has server 2008, 2 cores, 4GB ram and, 10Gb network. thanks!

In the version of Triton Unified Security Center that I'm running (7.7.3) the "splash" screen, the default screen that appears when the web console is initially logged into, is the "Threats" tab of the Dashboard. It would be helpful if the choice of this default screen was a user selectable option. Personally, I like to start on the "Alerts" screen.
Following discussion with support team, it appears that the search by URL is not yet implemented (only search by DOMAIN name works), although the documentation suggest it should. This is a very important function in order to be able to investigate activities (security related or not).
It is clearly not possible to manually parse thousands of details log entries for a domain name to find all that matches a particular URL. The only workaround provided is to create a new category for every single URL we need to investigate and can't really be used.
Example:
- search for www.youtube.com works
- search for http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAJbMng_Q3U don't

For convenience and in order not to generate false alarm would be convenient to be able to hide the alert present on the Websense Web Security Gateway appliance "The Directory Agent at x.x.x.x is not running" and "The Network Agent at x.x.x.x is not running" when they are disable/turned off .

My company receives hundreds of block requests that are added to a newly created blocking category.
We cannot have support personnel with no training given Super Admin privileges but Recategorizing URL's requires this permission.
It would be very, very helpful if categories could have tags assigned to them where we can allow for a type of help desk function to add or remove URL's from designated categories. These same people could run reports and use the toolbox as expected. Not having this capability generatesa large security hole in our environment.
Does this sound easy to provide?

I'm in the process of setting up Cloud Web Security for trial testing. In the Default policy, under the Connections tab, I know I have to put a routable IP address there. If I put the routable IP of the gateway there, does the policy then get pushed to all users with an IP connected to that gateway? For testing purposes, I would rather the policy only be pushed to a few test machines and not the entire office. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!
... and received an email with the new Websense key. Is there a place to enter this new key? The instructions in the email say "follow the steps in the 'Next Steps' section" however there is no Next Steps section in the email.
I'm guessing it's fairly simple, as soon as I know where to plug the new key in.

I'm trying to view the "History" data/charts shown under the "Status" left menu. Normally shows charts for Internet Activity by Request, Top Security Risk by Request, etc. But for all charts, all I'm seeing is "No Data Found"
Yes, Flash is installed and I can see the flash-based charts for the other tabs off the main menu... "Today"... "Alerts" etc. Other reports and functions seem to be OK.
Any ideas? We are running Websense TRITON - Unified Security Center 7.6
