New subcategories for Personal Network Storage and Backup
It would be helpful if Personal Network Storage and Backup URLs could be divided into PNSB Download or PNSB Upload subcategories. For example, I've had users come back from a conference and want to download a presentation from Dropbox or box.net. Or we have business partners or clients who post files at places like Dropbox for download. Or worse yet, a high level executive who belongs to a charity board, but can't get access to board materials posted on these sites. We trust our users to download from sites like this, but don't want them to upload to same. We would probably allow access to all Dropbox, except the Dropbox upload URLs.

minimum 10gb required for master database update
Hi
I'm hoping there's a simple solution to my problem. Is there a way to update the "Master Internet Threat Database" on WES 7.2 if you have less than 10.0gb spare disk space?
I have moved all the log files to another drive which ironically has 200GB free but the system was installed on a 40gb partition. OS is Windows 2008 R2.

Configuring hybrid for internal filtered networks
Hi,
We are looking at deploying hybrid endpoint clients for laptops and I have run into a problem.
In the manual it says that you can only configure filitered locations with private ip addresses when using explicit proxies (internal websense appliances). I have configured several ip address ranges that are part of private ip ranges and told them to use our appliances but it does not seem to be working and the changes are not showing up in the .pac file.
As the hybrid clients are going to be used on both in the office and remotely I wanted the clients to know that they should use the appliances when the are on our networks. Is there another way of getting the clients to recognise when they are on our networks or do I have to write a custom pac file in order to do this?

User identification v7.7.3
I do not see the user being identified in the Real-Time Monitor, only the IP address is shown. It is using Native Mode and passes the test to connect to directory. I can browse the AD and see the user, I have set a policy but obviously the default policy is applied because the User ID issue.
How does the browser identify the user to the Content Gateway?

Web Security 7.7 and Hyper-v
We are currently running Web Security 7.1 with about 1200 users. We want to upgrade to 7.7. Is this supported on Hyper-v? Any issues?
Since I also have to upgrade the OS on this server, I was planning to build the new server, install 7.7 and then restore all of my configuration information from my 7.1 installation rather than to go through 2 upgrade steps. Has anyone tried this (installing new and restoring settings)? Any issues?

Remote filtering server upgrade
I have upgraded the Policy server from 7.1 to 7.6.7 and now need to upgrade the Remote filtering server. Do I need to do it in stages or can I go straight to 7.6.7? Will the upgrade install the Triton browser interface on the remote filtering server? Both machines are Windows 2003 R2. I have read this: http://www.websense.com/content/support/library/web/v76/remote_filtering/remote_filtering.pdf but it's not entirely clear to me.

Detailed report takes far too long
I have been having more and more issues with my Web Security 7.7.3 deploy. It is a fresh deploy from a couple months ago and it just doesnt seem to be stable.
Most recently I am trying to look at a detailed report for a URL.
in a one month time frame I get a search return of 44 hits.
When I click to have the details of the hits returned it gives me my pop up screen of 'loading detailed report area' and then runs for 20 minutes or more. Sometimes it times out, sometimes I get a response.
This seems FAR too long for a 44 count report to return.
Generally just seeing where the new boxes with 7.7.3 are simply less responsive even though I am well above the hardware requirements. Any thoughts? Any one else running into these issues?

Cloud Email Security Report - Display Message Header "From" Address
I submitted this in through the ticket system as a feature request but it was bounced back and told to submit here.
Our client is requesting an additional field on the Cloud Email Security Report, which shows the "From" address provided in the message header. The reasoning is that looking at the cloud security report it is not always clear who the sender is from the actual "From" address.
I understand this is important to show the true From address to prevent return email address spoofing but the client would like to see both so they can more quickly identify which emails are legitimate spam vs. needing to click on more details --> expanding message headers to see the listed FROM address.

Real Time Monitor - Nothing Showing
I habe just updated my setup to 7.6 and then added the Real Time Monitor Component. Its showing in the menu and when i click on it it opens in the right hand pane of the browser, but nothing shows in it. Despite the fact that investigative reporting is showing activity happeing that Real Time Monitor should be picking up.
Any suggestions ?

Option to share favorite reports
It would be helpful if there was an option to share favorite reports . I understand that they are not able to be shared among other administrators due to security/confidentiality, but, if there was an option to keep private or share, other admins could reuse the reports when needed. There are three other administrators on my team that need access to custom reports I have created, but, there is no way for me to share the reports with them.

I have searched, but found only a kb for the "full" websense endpoint.

Can't Delete Delegated Adminsitrators after Upgrade
I recently Upgraded from 7.5 to 7.7, and imported my configurations.
In the configurations the Administrators were all imported. However most do not work due to the "Email" field not being available for these administrators.
Websense is not giving me the choice to delete these (now stale) accounts. They are grey'ed out.
If there a way to force delete them, either by running a script or going into the SQL DB itself?
I'm ok with resetting the Administrators all back to just the "admin" and starting over, but I do not want to do that with the policies and user assignments (only Websense Administration)

How to view who released a message via PEM
I am having an issue where users of a distribution group are releasing SPAM messages. Of course when this is happening the SPAM message is being released to all members of the DL. Is there a way I can view who is releasing these messages within PEM, if so how?

Why is it that I submitted a case two weeks ago and never hear from anyone for support? We pay for support and don't get a single response to an online submitted case. How terrible is this?

BES 10 (6.2) and workspace only browsing
Hello, we currently have BES 5 setup to use Websense Standalone 7.6. We setup some pull rules in MDS on the BES 5 server and have it setup so the IP address of the BES server has a default policy applied.
We installed 10.1 but it doesn't have any pull rules to configure in MDS and when users go to browse the internet from their device it just doesn't load, seems to be timing out? If i browse to https://www.google.ca it loads the page and I can do a search but I cannot load any of the search results. If I turn off websense filtering the browser works no problem.
Running a realtime monitor I can see the device access google which shows as permitted but nothing happens on the phone.
Not sure if someone has any ideas on what I can try but it doesn't seem to be working

Problem Opening Yahoo.com
Yahoo is not being blocked by our filter, but it is not opening correctly. All the graphics are gone and the page does not display correctly. If I bypass the filter, there is no problem. Has anyone else experienced this?
