LogServer installation fails: Unable to connect to SqlServer located at: .x.x.x.x using Windows Trusted Account

Hi,

When I am trying to install v7.8.1 LogServer on a standalone server, it fails with the error in the subject line.

The Windows ID I am using is the same I used during Triton manager installation on a separate server (during that time, it successfully connected to the SQL2012 Standard server, which is also a stand alone server).

Looks like a permission issue as giving "sa" privileges to the Windows ID on the SQL server the installation continues.

However, this is against the corp. policy. So I wonder, if anyone could tell why the "sa" privileges are needed for the LogServer install ID on a SQL2012 server?

Is it documented somewhere as system requirement for SQL2012 databases?

Thanks for any help in advance.
