AD Integration

This may more be related to the DC than websense but I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Initially when websense was deployed we used the domain administrator account, 'administrator' during installation and everything was working fine, there was no need to modify the configuration and add any servers under active directory (native mode). The password for the account was changed and they said they do it oftern so I asked them to copy the current administrator account and give it a new username called 'websene' and I had to go through and change the logon for the services that require it and after a reboot the services started fine.

However I was unable to add any users or groups to websense because it said it was unable to communicate with the domain controller. So I added the server under active directory (native mode) and tested the connection with the new administrator account 'websense' and it failed. I then asked then tried the original administrator account and it worked fine.

Is it that no other administrator accounts besides the default administrator account can work? Or is something just wrong with the new administrator account 'websense'? even though they just copied the original 'administrator' account to make it.
