If you do not frequently review the logging reports it is possible for the 'Websense Log Server' Service to stop for whatever reason and no one to be aware that it has. This will result in no logging of website access and has the potential to be for a significant period.
As this is a core feature of the product it would be helpful to be made aware of this fact via an email to relevant IT staff or a similar notification procedure.
Please could you investigate the potential of a notification system that advises of core functionality loss. Specifically for the purpose of this request this would be notification that the 'Websense Log Server' Service has stopped or has stopped for a period, ie if the service was stopped then an email could be generated every day to advise that this service was not working to ensure that it is not missed.
